Norman Woody was born in Tucson Arizona and now resides in Dilkon, Arizona. His father was an accomplished carpenter and his mother a weaver of beautiful Navajo rugs. Some relations include Billy Betoney (uncle), Jack Tom, Steven Begay, Thomas Curtis and David Lister.
He started making jewelry at age 21, taught by his brother-in-law, Tommy Singer. He is known for his bears and buffaloes.
