Leslie Nez

      Leslie Nez is a Navajo silversmith who was born in 1978 in Gallup, New Mexico.  He’s a self-taught artist - when he was 14 years old he visited some local Native American jewelry supply stores and decided to take up the art himself.  He started off by buying some simple tools and worked hard over time to improve his craft.  He’s been making traditional-style jewelry now for over 24 years.
