    Anthony Redhorse
Anthony (Tony) Redhorse was born April 24, 1978 in Tuba City, Arizona. He learned how to make jewelry by watching his father, Kenneth Redhorse and his uncle, Kenny's brother, the legendary, Thomas Curtis. They are talented Diné (Navajo) artists from Whitecone, AZ who come from a long line of silversmiths on their father's side.

Tony grew up in Flagstaff, Tucson, and Phoenix as his mother was in school and earned various degrees in education. His mom has been a teacher, counselor and currently a principal. His dad, Kenny, mostly raised Anthony and his four younger siblings. Not only was his dad an amazing iron worker, he makes beautiful jewelry, and Tony is inspired by both of his parents.

Tony began making his jewelry at age 13, when he made his first bracelet. He then made pieces from time to time through the late 90s and early 2000s as he also went to culinary school and worked in restaurants. Now, he's back to his family’s roots and making jewelry consistently. Tony’s work is inspired by his family’s traditional style of jewelry, mixed with his affinity for hip hop and pop culture. He would like to learn to work with faceted gemstones such as diamonds.

In Tony’s spare time, he like to cook, write poetry, and make art. He’s even written a book that has not been published.

Tony and his dad, Kenny, have formed a business called Redhorse Innovations. We look forward to seeing this talented artist create even more beautiful work in the future.
