I was born in Dayton, Ohio in 1972. From there my family moved to Tucson, Arizona in 1981. It was in these formative years that I was influenced by my father’s jewelry making and Kachina carving.

I started making jewelry when I was 12 years old. My first piece was a Pac-man pin made from golden mother of pearl and black jet. My first award was First Place for a malachite pendant at a youth crafts fair on Davis Monthan Air Force Base in Tucson.

Over the years, I have won awards at the Heard Museum and Coconino Center for the Arts. I make pins, pendants, earrings and handmade chains and bracelets. I also enjoy engraving as taught to me by my father, Howard Sice.

Many of my designs are inspired by Navajo rug designs and Hopi pottery patterns. I also use the natural terrain as a back drop for many of my designs, including desert flora and fauna and mountain settings.

My intentions for the future are to expand my use of engraving as a center point of my designs. Another branch of my progress is to extend the intricate designs of chain and bracelet making. I look forward to entering into more shows and expanding the outlets for my art.
